A real person reads every message. We aim to reply within two working days. If you are reporting a bug, telling us your device and what you were doing when it happened saves a round trip.
In the app: Profile → Delete account, then type DELETE to confirm.
It is immediate and it is real deletion, not deactivation: your profile, food log, weight history, saved foods and meal plans are removed, and you are taken out of any accountability groups. If you created a group, it is handed to another member, or deleted if you were the last one in it.
If you cannot get into your account to do this, email us from the address you signed up with and we will do it for you.
Yes. Email support@steadwellapp.com from your account's email address and we will send you everything we hold in a readable file.
On the login screen, tap Forgot password?. We email a six-digit code, you enter it, then choose a new password. The code expires after ten minutes.
Setting a new password signs you out on every other device, which is deliberate: if somebody else had your old password, resetting it should end their access too.
Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so cancelling happens in your store account: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on iPhone, or Play Store → Payments and subscriptions on Android. Profile → Manage subscription in the app links straight there.
You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
They are estimates, and they are best treated as such. A photo cannot see the oil in the pan or what is underneath the top layer. They are useful for consistency, which is what actually drives the trend, and you can correct any entry by tapping it.
Barcode scans are exact where the product database has the item.
Tell SteadWell once and your allergens follow you into photo scans, barcode results, coach suggestions, meal plans and restaurant orders.
We describe this as allergy-aware, not allergy-safe, and the distinction is deliberate. Automated systems and product databases are wrong sometimes. If a reaction would be serious, check the packaging or ask the kitchen. Do not rely on this app alone.
No. It is a tracking and guidance tool, not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice. If you are pregnant, under 18, or managing a health condition or a history of disordered eating, talk to a doctor before using calorie targets from any app, including this one.
